NTPC Limited Executive Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Executive (RE-Civil) –

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 03 years’ post qualification experience in geotech/piling/foundation/structural steel/tower structures/switchyard etc. Candidates having RE experience will be preferred.

2. Executive (RE-Electrical) –

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University /Institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 03 years’ post qualification experience in switchyard/electrical testing/transmission system/transformer. Candidates having RE experience will be preferred.

3. Executive (RE-Hydrogen) –

Qualification: B.B.Tech Degree with at It 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to candidates with ME/M.Tech degree.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 05 years’ post qualification industry experience with involvement in supervision/execution in hazardous location and equipment OR Minimum 2 years’ experience with equipment(s) that require Zone 0/Zone 1 compliance (hazardous area classification).

4. Executive (RE-Business Development) –

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution and MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 Years’ post qualification experience in area of Business Development/Marketing Functions/Tendering Process/Bid Management in Utility Scale Solar/Wind Industry, etc. Preference shall be given to candidates having exposure of financial/Tariff modelling and Regulations applicable to Renewable Industry.

5. Executive (RE-Commercial) –

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/institution. Preference shall be given to candidates with MBA/PGDM degree from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 Years’ post qualification experience in Commercial and Exposure in Commercial & Regulatory Affairs in Power Sector, dealing with ERCs, APTEL. Preference shall be given to candidates having exposure of financial/Tariff modelling and Regulations applicable to Renewable Industry.

6. Executive (RE-Project Management) –

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience in the area of Project Execution/Project Management functions with an understanding of Preparation of Project Schedules, Planning and monitoring progress and MIS System, proficiency in MS Project and MS Office. Should have experience in co-ordinating with various stakeholders like Engineering, Contracts 8, Purchase department, Consultants, Contractors 8, site teams. Candidates having experience in executing/monitoring large scale solar/wind projects will be preferred.

7. Executive (RE-Energy Estimation) –

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy or equivalent (PV solar related) with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates with Master’s degree will be preferred.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 03 years’ post qualification experience in Engineering design of PV solar plant or Minimum 01 year experience required in case of Master degree holder. Preferred skills – PV system, PV cell/Module design, energy optimization etc.

8. Executive (RE-Wind) –

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy or equivalent (WIND related) with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates with Master’s degree will be preferred.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 03 years’ post qualification experience in Engineering design of Wind Energy Project or Minimum 01 year experience required in case of Master degree holders. Preferred Skills – PV system, PV cell/module design, energy optimization etc.

9. Executive (RE-Sub-Station  Design) –

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to candidate with ME/M.Tech degree.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 03 years’ post qualification experience in engineering design for 400/220kv or higher size substation/Power evacuation systern or Minimum 01 year experience requirement for candidates with ME/ M.Tech Degree

10. Executive (RE-System Engg) –

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to candidate with ME/M.Tech degree in PV Solar/RE.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 02 years’ post qualification experience in engineering design of PV solar plants/knowledge of PV solar plants system & component design or Minimum 01 year experience in case the candidate is ME/M.Tech degree holder.

11. Executive (RE-Switchyard) –

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to candidate with ME/M.Tech degree in PV Solar/RE.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 02 years’ post qualification experience in engineering design of switchyard of 400/220ky or higher/SCADA, SAZ switchyard protection system or Minimum 01 year experience in case the candidate is ME/M.Tech degree holder.

12. Executive (RE-Structures) –

Qualification: M.E./M.Tech degree in structural Engineering/offshore structures from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 01 year post qualification experience in design of industrial/commercial buildings/towers or offshore structures -floating blocks with anchoring 8, mooring. Preferred skill- CFD analysis, MOSES/ OF2CAFLEX.

13. Executive (RE-Foundation) –

Qualification: M.E./M.Tech degree in structural Engineering/offshore structures from a recognized University/Institution.

14. Executive (RE-Civil-PV Layout) –

Qualification: M.E./M.Tech degree in Geotechnical Engineering/Soil mechanics & Foundation engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 01 year post qualification experience in soil investigation/engineering design of foundations with experience in pile load test, pile design etc.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering or Renewable Energy with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Preference will b given to candidates with M.E./M.Tech degree.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 02 Years’ post qualification experience in RE plant design/PV solar plant design/execution. Candidate should have knowledge of shadow analysis, layout design for solar plants/substation layout etc. knowledge of google sketch up, google earth, (.kmz file), Autocad etc.

15. Executive (RE-Electrical-PV Layout) –

Post Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering, with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to candidates with M.E./M.Tech degree.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 03 Years’ post qualification experience in Renewable energy project management, planning, cost estimation or Minimum 01 year experience in case the candidate is ME/M.Tech degree holder.

16. Executive (RE-Land Acquisition) –

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to candidates with Post Graduate degree.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 03 years’ post qualification experience in handling Land acquisition/Land Scouting/Land Management/Land Leasing in the area of development of Renewable Energy Projects.

17. Executive (Contract Services) –

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree with 2 years MBA/PGDM with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates having MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management will be preferred.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience in the area of contracting, post award management of contracts, procurements, sourcing, vendor development, supply chain managernent in the field of renewable energy sector. Candidates having experience in supply chain management in solar PV modules, wind, batteries will be preferred.

18. Executive (Human Resources) –

Qualification: Graduates with atleast 2 years full time post graduate degree/post graduate diploma/Post Graduate program in Management with Specialization in Human Resources/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management or Masters in Social Work or MHROD or MBA with specialization in HR with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 03 years’ post qualification experience in HR functions/Industrial Relations. Candidates with knowledge of SAP, MS office and Data Analytics will be preferred.

19. Executive (Finance) –

Qualification: Qualified CA/CMA

Experience Requirement: Minimum 01 Year post qualification experience (excluding article ship period) in the area of Finance/Accounts.

20. Executive (Accounts) –

Qualification: CA (Inter)/CMA (Inter). Conversant with GST, TDS, financial modelling, IndAS, SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 05 Years’ post qualification experience (excluding articleship period) in the area of Finance/Accounts.

21. Executive (P&S) –

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience in Power Sector with atleast 1 year experience in Renewable Energy.

22. Executive (QA) –

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Requirement : Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience in Renewable Energy. Preference shall be given to candidates with minimum 1 year experience in Quality Assurance/Inspection in Renewable Energy.

23. Executive (IT) –

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 years’ of experience of communication and networking devices like LAN, WAN, Switches Telephone Exchange, audio/visual system, data base administrator, web designing, handling of servers, pc, printer and other IT hardwares.

24. Executive (Safety) –

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution with a full time Diploma in Industrial Safety frorn Regional Labour Institute/Institutions recognized under the Factories Act/Rules or Full time Engineering Degree in Industrial Safety/Fire & Safety with atleast 60% marks from a University/Institution recognized under the Factories Act/Rules of the state.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 05 yea, experience in compliance with Safety regulations under the Factories Act; development and implementation of safety inspection/monitoring and audit systems; implementation of safety norrns; enforcement of preventive safety measures, etc. Experience in Organizing safety and fire-fighting trainings with good co-ordination skills shall be preferred. Safety experience will be counted from the date of acquiring degree in engineering.

Salary Details:

Remunerations for all the Posts except post C: Monthly Consolidated amount of Rs. 90,000/-.

Remunerations for Post C: Monthly Consolidated amount of Rs. 1,25,000/, Additionally, HRA, Retention benefit and Medical facility for self, spouse and two children.

 

NTPC Limited Executive Selection Process 2022:

NTPC Limited may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Application Fee/Exam Fee for NTPC Limited Executive: 

Candidate belonging to General/EWS/OBC category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee. The payment can be made either in online or offline mode.

Payment in offline mode: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened account (A/C No. 30987919993) at CAG Branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” which is available on the application registration portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration. NTPC will not be responsible, in case a candidate deposits the fee in wrong account.

Payment in online mode: Candidates also have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card (Rupay debit cards Only) / Credit Card). The online payment option will be available on the website. The candidate is required to make the payment before proceeding for online application. After making successful payment, the Challan number, Bank Reference No., date of payment etc., are required to be filled up in the online application.
