And to add to the drama, Sibbick was sent in injury time after taking down Abada on the break.
Despite being up against nine men for just minutes, Celtic were able to capitalise. It was instead Giakoumakis who doubled the Hoops’ lead just before the final whistle.
With Rangers dropping points on their travels to Easter Road on Saturday, Ange Postecoglou’s side can already enjoy their time at the top of the table as all three points today takes their two points clear.
