Celtic go two points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership as they keep up their 100 per cent record in the league so far this season.

Hearts seemed to have one eye on their upcoming Europa League qualifying leg as Robbie Neilson’s made seven changes to his starting line up following Thursday’s defeat to Zurich. But today focus was firmly on domestic duties.

Ange Postecoglou made no changes to his side who put five past newly promoted Kilmar

After a strong opening from Celtic, it was Kyogo who put the hosts in front after just 13 minutes of play.

Following a dominate first half for the Hoops, the Jambos did well to keep the deficit to just one at the break. The second 45 saw a little more pressure from the Gorgie side.

The closing stages got a more that a bit messy for Robbie Neilson’s side, thought, as Cochrane was given his marching orders after seeing a second yellow for his challenge on Celtic skipper Callum McGregor in the 89th minute.

And to add to the drama, Sibbick was sent in injury time after taking down Abada on the break.

Despite being up against nine men for just minutes, Celtic were able to capitalise. It was instead Giakoumakis who doubled the Hoops’ lead just before the final whistle.

With Rangers dropping points on their travels to Easter Road on Saturday, Ange Postecoglou’s side can already enjoy their time at the top of the table as all three points today takes their two points clear.
