MHC Chobdar & Cook Practical Test Date 2021 Details:
The list of candidates shortlisted for Practical Tests, the date and location of the Practical Tests, and the Practical Test Hall Tickets will all be available in due time. If there are five or more vacancies notified for a post, the candidates for the Practical Test will be shortlisted on merit, based on their marks in the Common Written Examination, from among the qualified candidates in the Common Written Examination, in the ratio of 1:6 or such number as the Judicial Recruitment Cell, High Court, Madras, may decide.
PRACTICAL TEST:
For the posts of Chobdar, Office Assistant, Waterman, Watchman and Room Boy:
The candidates who have been shortlisted will be called for a Practical Test to assess their abilities in office maintenance, such as office well-keeping, hygiene, house-hold article maintenance, office article/equipment maintenance, other office duties, and house-hold duties, such as food production, cooking, cleaning, food and beverage service, and so on.
For the post of Cook:
The applicants who have been shortlisted will be summoned for a Practical Test to assess their cooking, housekeeping, hygiene, household object maintenance, cleaning, food and beverage service, and other abilities.
For the posts of Library Attendant and Book Restorer:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Practical Test to assess their skills in bookkeeping, library maintenance, book binding, office maintenance, office well-keeping, office articles/equipment maintenance, and other office responsibilities, among other things.
