Tense moments at Ambasamudram

Tension prevailed for a few minutes at the Tirunelveli parliamentary constituency counting centre as the keys of the locks of the strong room in which the EVMs used in Ambasamudram Assembly segment and the lock put on the way for candidates’ agents to the counting hall were lost.

Protesting it, some of the agents picked up argument with the officials.

While the keys of the strong room were brought within a few minutes to open the room to take the EVMs on time, the officials had to break the locks on the agents’ way leading to the counting hall. – P. Sudhakar
